Senior Phase Learning Spaces
Our Senior Phase Learning Spaces have been refreshed and updated. These provide a bank of resources, selected by e-Sgoil staff, covering 25 subjects across N4 - Advanced Higher. Also included in the learning spaces are links to our Exam Mindset Guide, Study Skills learning space and Health & Wellbeing Chillspace. Please note that you will need to be logged in to Glow to access some of the content. Your school will be able to provide you with your Glow login details if you currently do not have these. Glow can be accessed for free by every Scottish school pupil.
GoExam Mindset Guide
We’ve partnered with the experts at HeadStrong to produce a video series that will help learners ‘keep the heid’ all the way through the exam process, from study, to prelims and all the way to success in your exams. You will find all the videos and three associated activity sheets by clicking on the button below.
GoN5, H & AH Gaelic/Gaidhlig Courses 2023/24
The National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher courses are designed to help develop skills and knowledge rapidly, getting even those learners with no Gaelic at the start of the course to a level of confidence and fluency quickly. Self-study and independent learning are important elements of the course but there is a wealth of support and resources at your fingertips.
GoGàidhlig / Gaelic
Watch this short video highlighting the Gaelic programmes and resources available through e-Sgoil.
GoMy Way
‘My Way' is an online video gallery featuring a diverse range of people talking about how they have achieved success in their chosen field. Contributors talk and answer questions about what it is they do, obstacles they may have overcome along the way, and the people who have supported and influenced them. 'My Way' is an inspirational resource, showing that there truly is 'no wrong path' for young people in Scotland today. The format is a brief presentation, followed by questions from learners using the interactive chat function. Sessions are broadcast live here however if you miss any of them they can be viewed on demand afterwards.
GoDYW Live
At the start of 2022 our DYW Live partners contributed some additional, open-access webinars, open-access webinars to e-Sgoil's timetabled provision, which provided further support to learners at home during periods of remote learning or self-isolation. These work-related sessions were streamed live and are now available on demand here. Information on our current DYW Live provision for 2022-23 can be found here.
GoHealth & Wellbeing Chill Space
Our Health & Wellbeing Chill Space is suitable for BGE and Senior Phase learners with resources for inspiration, relaxation and wellbeing.
GoMental Health and Wellbeing
We have 4 exciting sessions which were developed for young people in S4-6 focussing on Mental Health and Wellbeing. They feature Brian Costello who is the Director of Headstrong. These sessions were originally streamed live and the recordings from these sessions are available on demand. This is a four-part Mental Health series but each one can be used as a standalone learning session.
Goi-Sgoil
i-Sgoil is a provision which seeks to support learners from across Scotland who have been unable to engage with their local school for an extended period of time. It caters for learners between P2 and S6 allowing young people to re-engage with learning from their ‘safe space’ in a way that avoids many anxiety or sensory triggers. i-Sgoil learners remain on their local school roll and our staff work closely with local school staff to support learners and their families on an ongoing basis.
